Day 4- Gather Your Supplies

I always wait until after I have removed the original fabric before gathering all my supplies. Why? Because you never know what you will find and I don't want to make 3 different trips to the store. So take a look at the padding, does it need to be replaced? As far as I am concerned unless it is completely falling apart or a safety hazard, I will re-use it. 

So what do we need? 

Fabric. Check our handy little book and find your chair's style. This will give you a great estimate of how much fabric to buy. For my chair. 7 yards should do it.

Welt or piping cord.

Curve Ease or Ply Grip.


 I order mine from DIY Furniture Supply.

fabric to cover the bottom of the chair. You can find this at Joann's in the upholstery aisle.
