Check another one off of my
fall cleaning list! What does your pantry look like??

| Disorganized Pantry |
Materials:
- Large mason jars (case of 6 is about $12.00)
- Rag or 2
- All purpose cleaning spray
Instructions:
 |
| Ummmmm..... |
- Wipe down each shelf with an all purpose cleaning spray.
- Pick frequently used items and consolidate them into large mason jars. This way you can see how much you have and they are right in front of you. Plus they just look cute!
- Check expiration dates and get rid of anything expired, or that you haven't used in a year (admit it you know there are things like that in there!)

How is your fall cleaning going??
Your pantry looks gorgeous!! Oh what an achievement! But oh know, you've reminded me that mine needs cleaning and organizing too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing to have three boys.I know it must be hectic sometimes too but how nice that they have one another to play with. Always a football team at hand! I love how you are creating a home for your family... it is becoming a lost art.
Please stop by my history blog and follow along if you like it. It is about St. Nicholas (the real man behind Santa Claus!).

Yes, this is on my list too. Yours looks wonderful. Thanks for the light bulb moment. During my decluttering I just couldn't understand all the trash going out. But finally realized a lot was stuff we could recycle. Saw the plastic can in your pantry. We have the room for that. I will do that, so more will get recycled instead of thrown in the trash.

Jilly, that is so funny that you noticed the recycling and trash cans! I almost took them out for the picture for the pantry's "beauty shot" but then thought hey its real life right?! We recycle a lot and the extra bin is very helpful! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I also think Mason jars make for cute and practical storage. I used to watch a cooking show called Chef at Home (Chef Michael Smith), and his pantry was filled with rows of jars on well lit shelves. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI like your large glass canisters. Could you please share what kind they are and whether you're happy with them? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSure. The large containers with the granola and nuts are extra large Ball canning jars. You can get them in cases of 6 at most hardware stores for about 12$. The glass jar with the flour is from target. Let me know if you have any more questions! Thank you so much for stoping by!

Peter and Becky, If you click on the "three boys online store" tab at the top of the page and then click on "organizing" you will see them. Feel free to order from this amazon site if that is easier for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'll check them out.
