How To Easily Clean A Scalded Pan Without Harsh Chemicals

It has happened to all of us. The horribly scalded pan. Do you even TRY to scrub this off or is it there to stay?

Oops.

Not to fear, I have a solution for you. And I PROMISE it will work.

Materials:
  1. scalded pot or pan
  2. salt
  3. water
  4. stove
  5. firm spatula
Instructions:
  1. Cover the scald with an ample amount of salt
  2. Fill the pan with just enough water to cover the salt and scalded area.
  3. Let sit over night.
  4. In the morning put the pan with the water on to the stove on low heat. Allow the water to heat up and start to scrape the pan with a firm spatula.
  5. Scrub until clean.
* If it is a severe scald you may have to repeat this process.
* If it is a mild scald you can skip the the heating process and try scrubbing it off after and hour or two.
Lots of Salt

Scrape while the pan is on the burner. As the water gets hot the scald will start coming right off!

Less than one minute of scraping!

Give this a try next time you scald your favorite pot or pan.
