Earlier this week, my dear son Joseph, decided it would be fun to smear his head with an entire jar of Aquaphor, also know as petroleum jelly or Vaseline. Oh goodness did we have a time trying to get it out. After googling this problem, I tried shampoo, dish soap, corn starch, vinegar, hand sanitizer, olive oil, baby oil and NOTHING worked. Finally I turned to Facebook and our local parents group.  May I just say there were some very interesting suggestions.... lighter fluid? Really? This suggestion was actually sent from another mom! Needless to say I did NOT try lighter fluid. But thanks to my wonderful Facebook friends.... Dawn dish soap worked. If you find yourself in a similar predicament go to the store and pick up Dawn. No other brand of dish soap that I tried even touched it. You may have to wash it two or three times to get it all out, but not to fear it works. Poor Joseph.
