I used Rust- Oleum Dark Brown in a Gloss finish. I really love the finished product.
Total cost:
Lamps: $15 each
Paint: ~ $7
Primer: ~ $7
Shades: ~ $17 each
Total for 2 great lamps: $46

You can also see a few sneak peeks of the room I have been working on. Paint is on the walls, most of the cabinets are painted, and the buffet is looking good. I just have one more chair to finish and then the cabinets and walls in the kitchen. At this rate it will probably be next year before the big reveal!

They look great! I love interesting and uniquely shaped lamps too...you can always find cool ones and garage sales and thrift stores, but my husband vetoed me getting anymore. We're running out of outlets! Thanks for linking up to Mad Skills Monday!
