New Years Confession: What's Under Your Stove?

So earlier this week I am happily catching up on all of my favorite blogs and this title grabs me. House of Grace posted "I Cleaned Under My Stove" seems simple enough, gotta go check out mine, right? So I did... um, words fail me. Honestly I can't believe I am admitting this and showing all of you pictures. Who knew that lurking in the clean, cute kitchen that I love dearly was something straight from a SAW movie.

But this is what I found when I pulled out the stove.... Be warned it is really bad.

So here is the story. We moved in 2 years ago to an updated kitchen, new appliances, counters etc... So I just assumed that we were starting with clean. I forgot to take into account that we had all of the hardwood floors refinished before we moved in AND there was a mouse issue that had to be taken care of. Once we moved in all of the saw dust and mouse presents had been dealt with by the previous owners. And honestly I thought that they had done a great job! Apparently we both neglected to look under the stove...

After the initial shock and horror I got to cleaning and.....

All Better!

For this project I called on my favorite disinfectant Shaklee's Basic G! Sorry, but mouse presents = disinfectant in my house.

I think I am going to have nightmares about this for months to come... don't judge.
