k,

I couldn't take it anymore! The end of January in Michigan is when I always start craving warmth and spring. And to top it off we are expecting at-least a foot of snow tomorrow and Wednesday. The thought of being cooped up in this house was just too much. So to make the snow and cold a bit more palatable, I picked up some beautiful tulips. They are my absolute favorite. Don't you just love how they hang over the vase? Perfection in my eyes.
Do you have a flower that reminds you of spring? I would love to hear it!
THose are so pretty. I love tulips...and roses. My hubby always gets me roses...even when he is deployed (he pays an arm and a leg but still manages to send me roses). January in South Dakota gets long too. SO ready for Spring...but another storm is brewing :( Cabin fever is starting to take over!!!
ReplyDeleteI love those tulips! I was just wondering last night if I could figure out how to force some bulbs indoors this spring since I love flowers but live in Alaska, where no flowers will come out until June!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and I bet it makes you feel spring-y and happy just to walk past your tuplis!

Those are beautiful! I completely agree the winter is getting to a lot of people. I swear I have not been at work for a full week since the first week in January due to all the snow and snow days....hmmm...may need to get myself some flowers!
ReplyDeleteLove the tulips . . . there is nothing like fresh flowers to brighten things up!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite flower to cut from my garden are the tropical hibiscus . . . big fluffy red doubles make a beautiful presentation.
