High End Look For Less- Windowpane Lantern

When we moved into this house two years ago, these little beauties adorned the walls in our guest bathroom. I know cool lanterns but REALLY not the look I was going for. I took them down over 6 months ago and they have been sitting in the closet waiting, for me to take a RISK.

First I took the electrical hardware out.

Put them back together and gave them a well needed bath.

A little Rust-Oleum antique white spray paint.

A little sanding and distressing.

Antique Glaze

What do you think?

Not to bad for FREE!! Here is where I found my inspiration.

  9. Love the shabby chic white with candles - so dreamy! And what a great way to reuse something instead of buying brand new. Great risk!
