To make the rocket tent I felt a lot like Macgyver. I used a a hula hoop, wire hanger, blue fabric, painters tarp, rope, and some electric tape. However the most exciting part of my day had to do with...
This.
Note the cup of coffee, leaking water and broken faucet? Yep, these fixtures are from 1967 and have been slowly falling apart since we moved in two years ago. At some point all three of our bathrooms will need a complete makeover, but until we win the lottery, these projects are on hold.
So at 8am this morning I had the pleasure (note the sarcasm,) to replace this ancient faucet. With some helpers of course.
The hardest part for sure was getting the old one out. I was quoting Metro Man a lot, Crab Nuggets! I usually go with a more colorful phrase but the kids were helping me.
But by lunch time we had a new faucet, and it actually works! Not bad for my first time, huh?
