Day 12- Putting Together The Pillows

Ok. So I re-read all my posts up until this point and oh, lord are they boring! Full of information, sure but come on. Anyway on to the task at hand, I'll try to spice it up a bit for you. Take apart your pillows at the seams and lay them out.

Next cut out the shapes on your new fabric and lay them out, pin.

Sew together.

Same for the other parts.

I reused the zipper from the original because... 1) I am cheap and 2) lazy, it is already cut to just the right size.

Pin and sew.

So it took me maybe 30 minutes to get this far. However that was yesterday. I spend the rest of Tuesday and most of today fighting with this pillow. I had to walk away a few times for fear I would go completely crazy and just throw it out. Went out with the girls, had a drink to sooth the soul and today was better. However it is still not finished. I may have to resort to some stitch witchery to finish it. It is SERIOUSLY driving me crazy, and yes I am having another glass of wine, so what?

So what is my tip today? Find your patience before embarking on recreating pillows or just make sure you have some wine on hand so you don't do something totally crazy:)
