
This time of year our CSA box is full of rainbow swiss chard. A beautiful vegetable to look at but I must admit not one that I generally look forward to eating. Well that is until I was introduced to SmittenKitchen.com. Great pictures, great recipes, and lovely writing. You can type in whatever ingredient you need and a long list of recipes will pop up. Yes, even for swiss chard! Now there are a lot of websites out there with great pictures and nice writing but when you actually try the recipes.... not so great. So far these recipes... pretty great! Jon even asked that I make this one again! I guess just like adding bacon, adding "cream of" to anything will turn out well. I hope you all enjoy this website as much as I do!!
thank you for this--must try to figure out what to do with the fennel, red cabbage, 3 lbs of string beans, umpteen peaches, and jillions of small purple peppers. love the CSA, but this is like an Iron Chef episode.
