Spring Cleaning For Charity: Clean Your House And Give Back

Hey everyone, I am so, so, so excited about what I have going on for you. I will give you a hint today but come back tomorrow for the details. Did I mention I have called upon my favorite designer to create a gorgeous invitation for you?

Spring is knocking on our door and you know what that means, Spring Cleaning! For me it is important to set goals for myself. Make a list, set a due date, and my weekly homework. So lets do it together this year. This is my list and you can use it if it works for you. Make sure your list is appropriate for you family. I certainly didn't include everything, but did make it as complete as possible.
Spring Cleaning List

Lets set our goal is to have this list completed by April 30th. That gives us over a month. So if we stick to it and do a little each day we can do it.

But wait, there's more! Not only are we going to clean our homes we are going to get busy giving back. I want to see what we can do as a group, yep all of you out in blog land who are getting ready to welcome the warm weather with a clean house. I want you!

I am going to ask all of you to spread the word all around blog land and beyond..... Come back on Thursday for the details.

  1. I'm in! Even with a full-time job and 2 kids, I'm in! I've modified your list a bit for our house - and I may go beyond that April 30th day, but by golly I'm with ya'. But I did have a few questions about your fabulous list - how does one launder pillows? Do you send them to the dry cleaners or do it yourself? And do you have any tips for wiping down the walls without leaving streaks? And, last question, any tips on how to get the kiddos involved and occupied? Sometimes these activities can be lots of fun with the kids, but then it's tough when they lose interest after 10 minutes and you still have an hour to go.

  3. I love this post. We do Spring Cleaning every year and I like the list idea. We donate every years, usually about four to five "bags"and boxes which means we must waste a lot during the year too but it's good it all goes to a good cause.
