Modern Striped Chair- And So It Begins

While family was here this week I had the chance to peruse some of my favorite design books. I also stopped by Joann Fabrics and picked up some pretty fabric for my chair. Full of newly found inspiration and motivation, I dove in.

I started with the seat. Since only the front will show I grabbed some extra white fabric so I wouldn't waste my pretty fabric on a spot that won't show.

Put it in place

tuck, tuck, tuck, staple, staple, staple.

Well, it's a start.

Slow and steady on this one I think.

  7. Have you ever had to replace the padding and cushion before? I was given a wing back chair that I want/NEED to reupholster, but it will need all new everything. It smells musty.

As usual, this one is coming along nicely! Can't wait to see the results!
