While family was here this week I had the chance to peruse some of my favorite design books. I also stopped by Joann Fabrics and picked up some pretty fabric for my chair. Full of newly found inspiration and motivation, I dove in.
I started with the seat. Since only the front will show I grabbed some extra white fabric so I wouldn't waste my pretty fabric on a spot that won't show.
Put it in place
tuck, tuck, tuck, staple, staple, staple.
Well, it's a start.
Slow and steady on this one I think.

Have you ever had to replace the padding and cushion before? I was given a wing back chair that I want/NEED to reupholster, but it will need all new everything. It smells musty.

ReplyDeleteIt's a great start! I'm in the process of taking off all the old fabric on a pair of wingbacks myself right now so I totally get the slow and steady! It's a process for sure but always well worth it!
